Celebrate the Chinese New Year at the Village!
On Sunday, 2 February and on Saturday and Sunday, 8 and 9 February, come and shop at the Village and join us in ringing in the Year of the Snake, with two unforgettable weekends showcasing the culture and customs of China.
For the occasion, a series of themed events will accompany you on a fascinating journey, through the music and traditions of this incredible country.

Sunday, 2 February
- Opening ceremony with representatives from the local Chinese community and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Italy
- From 3:00 pm Parade of the Dragon and the Snake along the Village boulevard
- Calligraphy point to discover the art of Chinese writing and write your year of birth
- Children’s workshops where they can create their own Chinese lantern and draw their Chinese zodiac sign
Saturday, 8 February
- Performance of Chinese folk dances featuring traditional garments
- Musical performance with the guzheng traditional instrument
- Calligraphy point to discover the art of Chinese writing and write your year of birth
Sunday, 9 February
- From 3:00 pm Parade of the Dragon and the Snake along the Village boulevards
- Children’s workshops where they can create their own Chinese lantern and draw their Chinese zodiac sign
- Calligraphy point to discover the art of Chinese writing and write your year of birth
