Trussardi is the first Italian lifestyle brand. Founded by Dante Trussardi in 1911, Trussardi began as a leather glove manufacturer in Bergamo. In the 1970s, Dante’s grandson Nicola Trussardi took over the over the company, and introduced the  lifestyle concept that made Trussardi’s luxury and elegance accessible to the many.

In March 2004, Miroglio Group, an international entity with a strong Italian identity operating in the fashion and retail sector, acquires Trussardi, with the goal of enhancing the brand and of giving new life to Trussardi timeless and iconic archive.
